About The Role :

As a rapidly growing company, we are currently looking for a versatile Video Editor with a deep understanding of e-commerce, short form, long form, and social media platforms to join our in-house content team and assist with the day-to-day video production needs as we ramp up our in-house production. This person would report directly to our Creative Production Director.

The ideal candidate will be someone who understands and can create hi-fi or lo-fi video as needed. Often creating content for our branded team, or marketing strategies looking for someone who is flexible in their shooting style, while still being efficient with output. Must be comfortable working with talent and directing on camera talent per project. Looking for someone who can also be creative and innovate when it comes to shooting product videos in effort to constantly elevate our product content and engage customers. Hybrid / Remote work model potential for this role based on needs of business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and Shoot all video content for branded and marketing teams : This includes product videos, lifestyle videos, transformation videos, interviews, scripted content, and tv advertisements. (Hi-fi and Lo-fi content; pro cameras and cell phone content)

Must ensure audio recording is also of high quality whenever shooting with dialogue

Work closely with Editing staff to ensure shooting for efficient editing

Work with Marketing Directors and Creative Directors to execute and bring to life the content that has been envisioned by them.

Work well with production team to create seamless production processes

Direct and guide on screen talent, as well as stage and set products for product shots

Research new trends, techniques, platforms, and tools to innovate and enhance the quality of our video content

Provide high-quality assets in multiple formats depending on expected consumption.

Stay up to date with popular shooting trends

Maintain organized studio and up to date inventory of equipment

Qualifications

Minimum 3 Years of experience in video production for product content, social content, and e-commerce content

Certificate or Degree with a focus in digital content creation / video production

Good with team environments

Skilled with various lighting and camera setups

Advanced knowledge of canon cameras and lenses

Familiar with audio recording techniques using shotgun microphones, clip on lavalier, camera mounted shotguns, and zoom recording devices

Comfortable with grip work (stand, electrical, mounts, tripods, safety etc.)

Familiar with various shooting formats (i.e High speed, low light, vertical, 4k, RAW,)

Portfolio and / or video reel required
