Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer .
Overview :
This is a hands-on, technical role responsible for launch activities and existing manufacturing programs. The Manufacturing Engineer will have a significant impact on plant operations by designing efficient workflows, implementing best practices, and providing technical support to production teams. This position requires strong leadership and interaction with production associates, managers, and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and maintain essential manufacturing documentation, including process books, process flows, PFMEAs, and operator description sheets.
- Develop and maintain the plant layout to optimize workflow, space utilization, and ergonomics (PEIL analysis).
- Implement best business practices for material flow, manufacturing processes, and labor efficiency.
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and future manufacturing needs using statistical methods.
- Provide technical support and evaluate value-add and non-value-add activities.
- Maintain a central database for all lean manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements : Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.Experiences :
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.Must have well-rounded, hands-on Manufacturing Engineering experience from a technical perspective.Proven experience with process documentation (PFMEA, Process Flow), plant layout, and lean manufacturing principles.Other :
Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and AutoCad.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Compensation and Benefits :
Salary :
$85,000 - $100,000 per year.Benefits :
