Non-Invasive Cardiologist with Inherited Cardiovascular Disease & HCM Experience Opening CTPosition : Non-Invasive Cardiologist with Inherited Cardiovascular Disease & HCM Experience Location : Hartford, CT Facility Type : Hospital & Outpatient Clinics Opportunity Details : Full-time position within a highly trained team of cardiovascular specialists Provide care for a diverse, medically complex patient population Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor Lead the development of an Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Clinic in the East Region Access to extensive clinical research opportunities Procedures & Skills Required : Nuclear, exercise, and pharmacological stress testing Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography Carotid ultrasound studies Diagnosis and management of inherited cardiovascular diseases, including : - Inherited cardiomyopathies - Inherited arrhythmia syndromes - Neuromuscular disease-related cardiomyopathy - Aortopathies and connective tissue diseases Requirements : Board Certification : Non-Invasive Cardiology (Board Eligible or Certified) Experience : Inherited Cardiovascular Disease & HCM Training : Specialized interest and experience in ICD management preferred Research Experience : Preferred but not required About the group : Connecticut s largest health care system with seven acute care hospitals Includes an 867-bed tertiary academic medical center One of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England (2,600 providers) Strong physician-led, collaborative work environment Lifestyle & Location : Located near Boston and New York City Access to top-rated schools and vibrant urban, suburban, and coastal communities Four-season recreational activities in New England
