About Lakewood Regional Support

Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.

What We're Looking For :

A strategic and adaptable leader to drive communications across a high-profile hotel portfolio in a premier travel destination. This role is responsible for shaping and executing brand-aligned messaging, managing media relations, and developing strategies that support business goals. Success in this role requires creativity, strong judgment, and the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.

  • What You Will Do :

  • Lead communications strategy across the hotel portfolio, overseeing media relations, event marketing and brand-aligned messaging.
  • Use independent judgment to shape and implement communications initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Lead integrated marketing communications to drive awareness and revenue for food and beverage experiences, special events and branded activations.
  • Develop proactive media strategies, cultivate press relationships, and manage outreach at the local, national, and international level.
  • Manage media visits, brand events, and serve as a point of contact for reactive or crisis communications.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of written content including press releases, fact sheets, blog posts, talking points, and guest messaging.
  • Direct and support photo and video shoots to meet branding, marketing, and operational objectives.
  • Review and approve internal and external collateral to ensure alignment with brand standards and messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, agencies, and corporate stakeholders to amplify initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and media coverage to inform strategy and protect brand reputation.
  • Ensure COI compliance and logistical readiness for large-scale production and content shoots.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive communications and guest information.
  • Your Experience Includes :

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, marketing or media, with emphasis in hospitality, lifestyle, or travel-related industries.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing communications strategies that drive awareness and support business priorities.
  • Extensive experience in media relations, including story development, proactive outreach, and press event management.
  • Exceptional writing and editing expertise, with a strong portfolio of content across formats and channels.
  • Experience managing complex photo and video shoots with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Background supporting branded events, promotional campaigns, and cross-functional marketing initiatives.
  • Strong visual sensibility and a clear understanding of brand voice, tone, and style.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with content management or publishing tools preferred.
