POSITION OVERVIEW
Executive level position responsible for developing and leading compact yet high-impact sales team. This role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, responsible for developing and implementing sales structure and strategies, establishing performance metrics, and directly engaging in sales activities to achieve individual and team targets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an effective sales department structure that supports industry and market needs and aligns with company objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Lead the sales team in executing these strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Build, mentor, and manage a small sales team. Provide coaching and training to enhance individual and team performance.
- Develop incentive and compensation plans for sales team members.
- Develop and oversee sales processes, CRM utilization, and sales tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with operations to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
- Establish clear sales goals and KPIs. Monitor performance against targets, providing regular feedback and adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor the sales pipeline across categories to ensure sufficient opportunities are in each stage to support forecasted targets and maintain a strong backlog for future revenue
- Actively participate in the sales process, including lead generation, client meetings, and closing deals, to set an example and support team efforts.
- Work closely with marketing, operations and technical teams to ensure alignment and support for sales and cross-selling initiatives.

Proven experience in sales leadership, as well as individual contributor in salesExperience developing and successfully executing sales strategies and plansExperience in construction / electrical industry (or related) requiredExperience structuring small but high impact sales teamsStrong understanding of sales operations, CRM systems, pipeline and sales analytics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to leadership.Previous experience in a sales leadership role within a private equity-backed company is a plus.NegotiationContract ManagementSales processes and strategiesEQUIPMENT & APPLICATIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Sitting for Extended Periods – Spending long hours at a desk working on a computer, reviewing plans, or handling paperwork.Typing and Computer Use – Engaging in frequent keyboard and mouse use for emails, reports, scheduling, and documentation.Reading and Reviewing Documents – Handling blueprints, contracts, and reports, which may require prolonged focus and visual strain.Occasional Lifting and Carrying – Moving documents, plans, or office supplies, typically up to 10-25 lbs.Repetitive Hand and Finger Movements – Writing, typing, and using office equipment such as printers and phones.Walking and Standing – Moving between office spaces, attending meetings, and sometimes walking through job sites.Driving or Traveling – Visiting job sites or attending off-site meetings as necessary.Wearing PPE as Needed – Donning safety gear (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses, boots) when visiting active construction sitesLocation : Dallas , TX - Hybrid
Pay Range : $175,000 - $225,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
