Salary : Upto $23 per hour to Start

Seeking a qualified Lead Medical Assistant OR an experienced Medical Assistant with leadership ability, to assist with Care Team leadership responsibilities as well as assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients. The Lead MA ensures the efficiency of patient flow and quality of care during clinic hours. Assists with ensuring department goals are met and service excellence is achieved. Responsible for the training of new hires. Serves as a liaison between Medical Director & Practice Manager and other clinical staff working in collaboration with other departments. The LMA also serves as the vaccine coordinator who is responsible for ensuring all vaccines are ordered, stored, recorded and handled correctly. The ideal candidate will have be proficient in both English and Spanish (Bilingual preferred, not required). Net Signing Bonus up to $500.00 : with $250.00 net bonus paid upon a favorable (90) Day Performance Review and an additional $250.00 net paid bonus with continued favorable Performance Review at 180 days (6 months).

Current ClinicSchedule Day Shift Operations : Monday through Friday, from 8 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm OR from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. Clinic hours may be expanded on one day per week, (either Wed or Thurs) with two shifts either from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 00pm OR from 11am to 7 : 00 pm

Essential Administrative Dutiesand Responsibilities :

Inventory of vaccines to include ordering and maintenance of stock

Clinical Duties-

Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical provider(s).

Other Duties and Responsibilities :

Education / Experience : High school Diploma required. Current certification for Medical Assistant required. Minimum of two years experience as a Lead Medical Assistant. Experience in leading and training. Experience with MCIR and immunization management. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Current BLS certification required (must be obtained in 30 days of hire)
