Position Overview :

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities achieve their daily goals and enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing medication support, and participating in community outings, events, and vacations. Each day will present new opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Support medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed routines.
  • Engage in social activities and community outings, promoting integration and enjoyment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications :

  • DODD certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
