This position will sit onsite at our Charlotte Radiology corporate office.

The primary function of this Financial Analyst (FA) is to serve as a physician compensation subject matter expert. This position will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of compensation models, calculation of monthly earnings, preparation of compensation- and fringe-related journal entries, and review / reclass of certain fringe-related expenses for ~150 physicians, while working closely with other FP&A team members, Operations, and HR. 90% - Compensation focus; 10% - Traditional FP&A focus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Compensation Models, Earnings Calculations, and Related Expense Recording

  • Calculate monthly physician earnings to submit to payroll team for processing
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly compensation models
  • Prepare monthly compensation- and fringe-related journal entries
  • Review / reclass expenses booked by other departments and team members
  • Prepare and provide documentation to outside auditors for quarterly physician comp audit
  • Correspond and communicate with physicians regarding compensation-related inquiries
  • Review & interpret employment contracts
  • Maintain & track expense allowances
  • Maintain FTE schedules

Budget & Forecast Preparation

  • Facilitate the rolling forecast efforts related to certain compensation and FTE calculations
  • Participate in annual budget preparation as it relates to compensation and fringe expenses and FTE estimates
  • Identify & size risks and opportunities not reflected in forecasted / budgeted results
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting & Special Projects

    Minimum Qualifications :

    Education / Licensing / Certification :

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Experience (years and type) :

  • 5 years experience in corporate accounting / financial analysis / compensation modeling
  • Experience with accounting software systems and relational databases, including Excel-based GL add-on software
