Eighteentwentysix Studio is a creative studio focused on concert, event, and experiential creative design. We\'re looking for a General Manager to oversee the Studio’s operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Management : Prepare & present client project quotes in collaboration with 1826 Studio executive team.
- Prepare services contracts for clients based on existing templates and collaborate with legal and executive teams to track and negotiate deal points.
- Prepare subcontractor and employee contracts based on existing templates and manage onboarding.
- Track project billing and quote updates as projects progress through execution in collaboration with accounting team.
- Manage previz studio bookings and scheduling.
- Ensure all on site equipment and software is working properly - specifically GrandMA3, Depence R4, audio interface, etc.
- Set up studio and load show files for clients.
- Coordinate with clients ahead of sessions to tailor the space to their project needs.
- Greet and support clients on day one and throughout their time in the studio.
- Maintain a clean, functional, and stocked studio space.
- Troubleshoot tech issues in real time as they arise.
- Maintain organization of previz assets, project files, and equipment inventory.
- Provide rental quotes to clients based on project needs and studio resources.
- Project Coordination & Resource Allocation : Assign team members to projects and track progress and deadlines.
- Manage team calendars and availability throughout the year.
- Staff projects with external team members and service providers when needed.
- Organize and update Dropbox, Slack, and other project management tools to ensure smooth coordination across multiple projects by 1826 Studio.
Ideal Candidate Has
Industry experience in touring, live events, experiential, or creative production.Previous work experience at one of the following : Management company, business management company, creative studio, agency, or similar.Knowledge of on-site equipment.Great communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Dropbox, Slack, etc.Additional Information
This is a full-time office position located in Burbank, CA.Anticipated annual salary of $75-$100k. Final compensation offer will vary based on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.Medical, Dental, and Vision coverages for Employee paid fully by 1826 Studio; dependent / spouse coverages paid by Employee payroll deduction.401k Policy with 4% salary match offered after 1 year of service with 1826 Studio.One week of sick leave with pay per year.Two weeks of paid vacation per year.Seniority level
