INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 1ST & 3RD SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Giesecke+Devrient is a growing, German international security technology company operating in the fields of digital security, financial platforms, and currency technology. Our Mega Site located in Bolingbrook Illinois is a state-of-the art, clean, air conditioned facility running three shifts.

Job Summary :

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all factory support equipment. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. First shift runs from 5 : 30 am - 1 : 30 pm and third shift runs 11 pm -7 am Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities :

• Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose malfunctions in electronic equipment, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning.
• Fabricate replacement parts when necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization / fulfillment equipment and support equipment.
• Work with machine operator to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files.
• Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues.
• Implement programs to increase OEE. Utilize KPI's to improve equipment uptime and decrease downtime.
• Documentation : Maintain detailed logs of repairs, tests and inspections, and document processes for future reference.
• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls.
• All other duties as assigned.

The pay rate for this position starts at $28 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus.
