We're seeking a skilled Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead a paving crew on commercial, municipal, and ODOT (Ohio Department Of Transportation) projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, supervise, and organize asphalt paving crews on various job sites
- Ensure work is performed according to ODOT, local municipality, and commercial specifications
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Coordinate and execute job layout, including setting grades and slopes
- Maintain accurate daily project documentation for job cost tracking and reporting
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely, on-budget completion
- Enforce all safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on the job site
- Train and mentor crew members, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other stakeholders
- Attend site and company meetings as required
