Overview

Fox Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

Job Description

JOB TITLE : Reporter

FOX6 Milwaukee is looking for a deeply curious, hard news, team-oriented nightside journalist with a drive to dig, break big stories and innovate every day on-air, online and streaming. Responsibilities

• Developing sources, breaking stories, and finding new ways to reach new audiences across platforms. Demonstrate how you aggressively pursue relevant stories and develop exclusive content. Prioritize digital / social media content.
• Strong LIVE reporting skills and ability to communicate complex stories in creative, digestible ways. Work cohesively with streaming, digital and linear producers, photojournalists, editors and news managers to ensure a unified storytelling approach across all platforms.
• Strive to be the lead story and break the mold every night while prioritizing team interest over self-interest.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $70,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
