American Primary Healthcare, LLC is dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities across Ohio. We believe in promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion for every individual we serve.

Position Summary :

We are seeking caring and dependable Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals, participating in their communities, and living meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Support individuals in community activities, employment, or recreational programs
  • Promote independence, choice, and self-advocacy
  • Document services provided according to agency and state requirements
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, patient, and reliable

Preferred but not required :

  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • First Aid / CPR certification
