Location : Syracuse, NY 13215

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days and Mid shift available

Mid Shift – 5x8-hour (3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM) with rotational weekends / holidays

Day Shift : 12 : 30 pm - 11 : 00 pm

Job Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards.

Ensure accurate patient identification, preparation, and positioning for optimal imaging results.

Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring compliance with radiation safety and quality control requirements.

Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and nursing staff to support diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

Document procedures accurately and maintain records in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care or hospital setting.

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.

Active NY State license / registration in Radiologic Technology.

One year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist required.

IV Therapy experience and ability to read telemetry strips.

Must be able to float to other imaging areas as needed.

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical exemptions only).

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).

Preferred Skills : \nExperience operating Siemens CT scanners.\nPrevious experience in Level I or II trauma hospital environments.\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities within interdisciplinary settings.
