Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring Cerner experience and a MO or compact license.
Responsibilities
Work in a Level 3 NICU caring for neonates between 29 and 34 weeks, and those greater than 34 weeksUnit participates in high-risk deliveries as part of the job responsibilitiesNight shifts, 3x12 hours, from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15Work every third weekend is requiredMust work at least one holiday eve and one holiday day during the assignmentFloat to all competent units within one facility as neededCerner EMR experience is requiredScrubs are provided by the unitCare for a high acuity neonatal population, attending high-risk deliveries as part of the NICU teamCandidates will be reviewed for first time traveler status on a case-by-case basisLocals are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictionsAt least one professional reference is required for considerationMust not have worked in this facility within the past yearCompletion of pre-start and ongoing educational modules is required, with timely adherence to all module deadlines monitored closelyRequirements
Active MO or compact RN license required at time of considerationCurrent BLS and NRP certifications required; NRP Advanced and PALS are preferredMinimum of 2 years of NICU experience requiredCerner EMR experience is required with no exceptionsSkills in medication administration including surfactants preferredExperience with blood glucose monitoring, hyperbilirubinemia, insulin administration, phototherapy, endotracheal tube suctioning, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), respiratory distress syndrome management, tracheostomy care, and advanced ventilator management (AC / PC / SIMV / CPAP / BIPAP / PEEP) requiredBenefits
