The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing is a high-impact role responsible for building sourcing strategies and stakeholder engagement across multiple business units, with a primary focus on Human Resources (HR) and Legal. This role will also support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities and act as a key liaison with the legal team to enhance contracting processes and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, skilled negotiator, contracting expert, and collaborative partner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Role Responsibilities :
Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with executives and business unit leaders, particularly in HR and Legal.
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, aligning sourcing strategies with business objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure sourcing initiatives meet stakeholder needs and deliver measurable value.
Legal Liaison & Contracting Excellence
Partner closely with the legal team supporting procurement to develop and maintain contracting playbooks, templates, and best practices.
Drive improvements in contract lifecycle management (CLM), including process optimization, data capture, and compliance tracking.
Support training and enablement efforts to ensure consistent contract execution across the organization.
Mergers & Acquisitions Support
Lead procurement-related due diligence for M&A activities, including review of material supplier contracts and identification of supplier-related risks.
Assess cost synergies and sourcing opportunities to support integration planning.
Provide post-acquisition support through training, process alignment, and policy implementation.
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Negotiations
Independently lead strategic sourcing initiatives across assigned categories, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting.
Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
Deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvements through effective sourcing strategies.
Role Requirements :
Bachelor's degree and / or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, PMP, JD) preferred.
8+ years of strategic sourcing experience showing progressive increase in skills and responsibilities.
Proven experience supporting M&A activities from a procurement perspective.
Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and CLM systems.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment.

Salary
The base salary range is $135,000 - 155,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus a variable target incentive that aligns with individual and company performance.
