LTAC opportunity available in Birmingham, AL!

  • Start date : 10 / 06 / 2025 or later
  • Shift : nights available
  • Schedule : 3x12's
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • Pay breakdown : Travel : $1,971 per week / 36 hours
  • Local : $48 / hr

    • Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be skilled in various nursing practices. This role is essential in providing high-quality medical care, ensuring patient safety, and promoting health education within our facility.

    Duties

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health and needs.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals in hospital medicine to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
  • Perform airway management procedures when necessary to ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically Epic, for efficient patient management.

    • Experience

    Candidates should possess a valid Registered Nurse license with relevant clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Familiarity with the following skills is preferred : diagnostic evaluation, patient care, hospital medicine, ICD-9 coding, airway management, Epic electronic health records. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role.
