Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) position is available to support a caseload of 10-15 students, ages 3-21, within a K-12 school setting located in Kenosha, WI. This contracted role spans the current school year (CSY) and involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver direct instruction tailored to the needs of visually impaired students
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with classroom educators, specialists, and families to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide consultative support and resources to school staff and families
• Manage travel between multiple district sites as needed (not daily)
