EEDI Business Leader
This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days / week onsite from our North Chicago headquarters.
Purpose
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise EEDI Business Partnerships & Communities, the EEDI Business Leader will provide EEDI expertise and consulting to global function leaders. This role will serve as a strategic partner to multiple VPs and HR colleagues to develop and implement EEDI strategies and tactics that support business plans and the achievement of both short-term and long-term strategic objectives.
Responsibilities will include advising leaders using change management strategies, facilitating programs to help drive EEDI concepts and strategies down to the local level. The EEDI Leader will serve as a thought leader in the application of EEDI concepts across functional councils. The incumbent will also utilize data, business insights and best practices to provide recommendations and solutions.
The functional group this role supports is approximately 14,000 employees around the world. Join a team of EEDI Practitioners and Human Resource partners, each of which supports multiple vice presidents and their global organizations driving leadership development, talent management, org design and other critical HR processes to deliver success.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leadership to shape the functional EEDI vision by creating aspirational goals, plans for change / transformation and assessment of initiatives.
- Develop and deliver on innovative functional EEDI strategies that are aligned with our enterprise EEDI strategy
- Effectively use data to tell a story or create a narrative for change.
- Drive representation metrics functionally, by subfunction and globally (where applicable)
- Translate external and internal trends into innovative and creative practices.
- Collaborate with EEDI Council leaders in shaping their roles as champions and advocates for EEDI.
- Influence and drive action at all levels of the organization
- Partner with other Centers of Excellence to proactively contribute to the creation, development and roll-out of global programming to meet current and future state EEDI functional needs.
- Represent the EEDI enterprise team through functional internal speaking events, public panels / events and recruitment events and conferences.
- Facilitate focus groups and listening sessions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or EEDI Certification preferred.10 years+ of experience in diversity, equity and inclusion. 5 years+ experience managing teams 12 years + HR / legal / compliance experience managing sensitive dataBroad multi-stakeholder experience.Experience working in mid-to-large global and matrix organizations in a complex work environmentDemonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.Proven track record of leading and implementing large-scale programs and projects.High organization and detail orientation with a successful track record of executing initiatives from start to finishAbility to influence people without direct authority to achieve solutions. The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
