Pay range : $25 / hr - $35 / hr
Without the strength of our manufacturing team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced Machinist to work in the manufacturing shop. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Machinist.
The CNC Machinist will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the setup, operation and care of HAAS CNC lathes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to perform the following :
- Verify your own work using, Micrometers and Gages, Height gage and Caliper
- Multi-task, take initiative, and communicate clearly with your team and management
- Composite experience is a plus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a requirement, in the aerospace industry is a plus

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operates and maintains CNC lathe machines.Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping using standard SMI, calipers, mics, and height gages.Set up jobs and select appropriate settings for a given task.Read and understand sketches, drawings, and work instructions.Follows traveler steps to complete the assignment.Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary and verifying resultsMaintains inventory of completed products.Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.Work independently as required.Safely performs tasks, follows applicable safety practices, policies, and safe work behavior.Maintains a safe and clean workstation.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES :

High School Diploma or GEDPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs.Constant standing / walking for at least 8 hours.Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required.Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and / or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms).WORK ENVIRONMENT :
