Job Description

As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Patrols in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support security-related operations and maintain a professional presence at the location.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
