If you thrive on precision, this role lets you own the process—from interpreting job layouts to delivering defect-free product. Picture this : a rush order hits the floor. You review the spec sheet, set up the Bobst platen or Heidelberg cylinder press, and fine-tune the make-ready. As the first sheets run, you pull predetermined samples from each load, spot a minor misalignment, adjust, and keep production humming—all while meeting Snyder’s safety and quality standards.
Your Impact
- Production Leadership (≈80%) : Make-ready, set, and run die-cutting equipment (Bobst platen and Heidelberg cylinder). Adjust settings and troubleshoot to achieve target quality.
- Tooling Precision (≈10%) : Set up stripping tooling with a pin setting table.
- Data & Docs (≈5%) : Enter production data and complete required forms.
- Care for Equipment (≈5%) : Clean machines and perform routine maintenance.
Skills to Succeed
Proven ability to operate die-cutting machinery.Basic math skills : addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.Intermediate English for reading instructions, writing notes, and communicating clearly.Basic computer literacy for data entry and printing.Accurate measurement skills; able to read a ruler and work with units of measure.What You’ll Watch For

General warehouse environment in a paperboard packaging facility. Expect reaching, bending, and lifting; ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
Recordkeeping, Maintenance, and Teamwork
Maintain operating and maintenance records for the machine.Submit maintenance requests when needed.Support additional tasks as requested by the supervisor and plant manager.Follow Snyder’s safety and quality standards consistently.
