As a Security Professional - Unarmed Industrial Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative values. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed07 : 15 PM - 11 : 30 PMThur07 : 15 PM - 07 : 30 AMFri07 : 15 PM - 07 : 30 AMSat07 : 15 PM - 07 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the manufacturing and industrial environment to help maintain a secure atmosphere.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions relevant to the unarmed patrol role within the manufacturing and industrial setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
