Special Events Coordinator (Temporary) :

SGA Hospitality is excited to announce that we are expanding our talent pool in Salamanca, New York, and we are on the lookout for exceptional Special Events Coordinators! This temporary role promises to be a dynamic and enjoyable experience for the right candidate.

About the Role :

As a Special Events Coordinator with SGA, you will play a pivotal role in executing and managing the distribution of gifts – often referred to as swag, favors, or amenities – for our esteemed clients. Your strong organizational skills and keen understanding of client and guest expectations will ensure that gifts are delivered smoothly and thoughtfully.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Gift Distribution Strategy : Develop and implement a robust strategy for gift distribution, which may include setting up gift tables, creating gift bags for all attendees, or orchestrating personalized gifting experiences.
  • Guest Relations : Serve as the point of contact for gift-related inquiries, ensuring that all recipients enjoy a positive and memorable experience.

    • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Attention to Detail : Diligently handle every element of the gifting process, from packaging to personalization, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent Communication : Communicate effectively with vendors, staff, and clients to guarantee seamless operations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Proactively anticipate potential challenges and address any last-minute issues that may arise during gift distribution.
  • Time Management : Capably manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines, especially as event dates approach.
