Executive Underwriter - Property

A company is looking for an AVP, Middle Market Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute regional Underwriting strategy, collaborating with Market Management and Claims

Underwrite new and renewal accounts to ensure profitability and manage relationships with agents and brokers

Train and develop less experienced staff while supporting new business acquisition and retention

Required Qualifications

7-10 years of experience in Underwriting profitable business in Lines of Business (LoB)

Established relationships with brokers at peer group level and within the market

Understanding of regional / local LoB insurance markets and competitor landscape

College degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance Management, or Business Administration

Completion of a professional insurance qualification (e.g., CII)
