Personal Injury Attorney

Position – Mid-Level Personal Injury Associate at Valor Injury Law.

We're seeking an experienced personal injury associate who brings both legal acumen and emotional intelligence to their practice. The associate will manage a caseload of personal injury cases (primarily car crashes, dog bites, and premises liability) from intake through settlement and trial, working collaboratively with our team while independently handling cases.

The experienced associate will have the opportunity to develop their own practice area(s) aligned with the firm's values and goals.

Qualifications

Required :
5+ years of personal injury litigation experience, independently managing cases from intake to trial
Proven case-management and client-relations track record
Strong deposition and motion practice skills
Excellent written and oral advocacy abilities
Admitted to practice in Virginia; DC and Maryland a plus
Preferred :
Jury and bench trial experience
Negotiation success with insurance carriers
Passion for plaintiffs' work and client advocacy

Responsibilities

Manage personal injury cases independently through all phases of pre-suit and litigation

Conduct client intakes and decide on client acquisition

Guide clients and staff through pre-litigation phases

Conduct depositions and court appearances

Draft compelling pleadings, motions, and discovery

Build meaningful client relationships grounded in trust and communication

Collaborate with our team to develop case strategy

Mentor staff and contribute to firm culture
