What We're Doing : Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat. We are hiring multi-level Engineers in Huntsville, Alabama. Some of the Ground Missile Defense Engineer Roles include :

• Systems Engineer
• Software Engineer
• Software Developer
• Cyber Systems Engineer

An ACTIVE U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance is required for all roles.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off
