Position : Rovering HVAC Maintenance Technician

Location : Boca Raton, FL

Pay : $24 to $26 / hour

Experience : Prior experience in HVAC, irrigation, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Education : High School Diploma; certifications preferred.

Type : Full-time; Temporary

Schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM

HH Staffing is seeking a Rovering HVAC Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description :

  • Conduct property inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions or needed repairs.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings to review properties and the status of outstanding work orders.
  • Perform HVAC repair and maintenance, including cooling towers and cooling systems.
  • Conduct minor electrical maintenance, such as repairing fixtures, outlets, switches, bulbs, ballasts, and minor appliances.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and toilet repair or replacement.
  • Execute general maintenance tasks, including pressure cleaning and grounds maintenance.
  • Perform irrigation maintenance and repair.
  • Conduct minor construction tasks, including painting, drywall, door installation, carpentry, and lock cylinder changes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and repair of grounds, walkways, stairs, parking lots, dumpster enclosures, and roofs.
  • Interact professionally with tenants, owners, clients, vendors, contractors, and employees.

Position Requirements :

  • Must have reliable transportation (pick-up truck or van preferred) and provide proof of insurance.
  • Must own tools and a cell phone.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • HVAC and irrigation experience is required; HVAC / EPA certification required.
  • General understanding of electrical motors, equipment, and elevators.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily paperwork and client interactions.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights using ladders.
