We are seeking an experienced Senior Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytical skills and software expertise to transform complex data into actionable business insights, drive strategic decision-making, and optimize reporting processes across the organization.

Job Title : Senior Reporting Analyst (Software Applications Specialist I)​

Location : Houston, TX ​

Duration : 12 months or longer​

Pay rate : $58 / hr on W2 (depending on experience)

What You'll Do :

∙Maintain critical planning, monitoring, and reporting processes as well as required

documentation, for the timely coordination and completion of report-building tasks.

∙Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand report requirements and

contribute to the alignment of software solutions with organizational goals.

∙Analyze requests after intake to ensure requirement gathering is completed with the requestor.

∙Develop (or assist in developing) SQL Server Reports or Power Business Intelligence dashboards.

∙Maintain a customer-focused approach, addressing user needs and ensuring report and

dashboard solutions meet end-user requirements.

∙Contribute to the development and coding of enterprise-level reporting systems.

∙Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification, process impacts,

and solution development discussions to optimize end-to-end solutions.

∙Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to

report and dashboard development.

∙Communicate effectively with team members, providing updates on project progress,

escalating complex problems to higher-level specialists and seeking guidance when needed.

∙Maintain documentation related to software development, including coding standards,

procedures, and user manuals.

∙Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in software development.

∙Contribute ideas for process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance software applications.

∙Participate in training programs and collaborative knowledge-sharing activities within the

team to enhance individual and collective expertise.

∙Promote, encourage and model Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) principles across

∙Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulations, such as data privacy

and cybersecurity standards.

∙Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards

∙Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job

∙May need to travel to attend to business related matters

• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality

Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills

∙ Accredited four (4) year degre e or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five

(5) years

experience equal to nine (9) years

or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements

∙Significant experience with developing and administering SSRS reports and / or PBI dashboards.

∙Experience in a SQL database environment.

∙Expertise in an enterprise Microsoft Windows domain architecture.

∙Knowledge of security management in Microsoft Active Directory.

∙Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to

management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

∙Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

∙Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state / province, and

federal / national statutes and guidelines

∙Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

and vendor / client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical
