Job Summary

We are seeking a 2026 Summer Intern - IT Internal Audit for our Corporate site to be located in Wilmington, MA. The intern will assist in the preparation and execution of Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance testing. Successful candidates will assist the Charles River Internal Audit group with a variety of audit functions such as reviewing controls, executing test plans, documenting workpapers, and summarizing findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation, and execution of Sarbanes-Oxley IT compliance testing under supervision of audit staff.
• Interact with employees from domestic and international locations.
• Follow established standards to document workpapers in support of engagements.
• Participate in interviews of key control and process owners.
• Verify adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, applicable regulations, and laws.
• Document audit findings and formulate basic recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of regular controls testing updates.

Job Qualifications

This position entails at least one day per week of in-office work with supervisors / peers at our Wilmington, MA location.

The pay range for this position is $20-25 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
