As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your routine patrols and visible presence will contribute to a welcoming environment, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will support a positive experience for all. This role requires driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic opportunity to engage with different areas of the facility and make a meaningful impact as part of a reliable, caring, and innovative team.

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Friday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Saturday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure and orderly environment.

Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious behavior within the healthcare location and take appropriate action in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
