Position : Care Captain / Lead Caregiver
Location : Orange County, CA
Schedule : Full-Time (40 hours / week)
Pay : Competitive, based on experience + bonuses

We’re hiring a Lead Caregiver (Care Captain) — a hands-on role for experienced caregivers who want to mentor others, ensure quality care, and be the “go-to” leader in the field.

What You’ll Do
Train and Mentor
Coach caregivers in the field through hands-on guidance and feedback
Lead by example, modeling professionalism and compassion
Quality Assurance
Conduct regular and surprise visits to ensure care plans are followed
Observe, evaluate, and document caregiver performance
Address client or family concerns promptly and professionally
Step In When Needed
Cover last-minute call-offs or assist new clients during their first shifts
Ensure clients never miss a visit due to scheduling gaps
Keep Records Organized
Maintain accurate visit notes, reports, and caregiver feedback
Communicate updates to the office team in real time
A Typical Day
Morning :
Step in for a call-off, train a new caregiver, or onboard a new client
Afternoon :
Conduct 2–3 quality assurance visits
Collect and verify timesheets, care notes, and compliance forms
Update reports and plan the next day’s visits or trainings
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You :
Have an active CNA or HHA license, or at least 5 years of professional caregiving experience
Are known as dependable, professional, and compassionate
Communicate clearly and enjoy mentoring others
Can adapt quickly and love solving problems on the go
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance (required for client transportation)
Bonus Skills (Not Required) :
Bilingual (Spanish, Tagalog, or other languages)
CPR / First Aid Certified
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
