Catena Media is hiring : Content Editor in Miami

Overview The Content Editor is a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience working with content and SEO teams. This role oversees the execution for all evergreen content updates across multiple brands. This person is responsible for writing, editing, and posting content on high-value pages, including operator reviews. The role requires a deep understanding of brand guidelines and SEO best practices for affiliate marketing websites. The person in this role must be a subject matter expert in their given vertical. The Content Editor must produce engaging and compliant content at pace while upholding high publishing standards of the brands within their portfolio.

Responsibilities Write, edit, and post evergreen content, including operator reviews as directed by the Content Lead.

Maintain a strong understanding of brand guidelines and specific vertical requirements ( Casino or sports ).

Adhere to content requirements for compliance, particularly when writing about partner operators. Ensure all content meets legal and regulatory standards.

Implement SEO best practices in all content, including keyword integration, meta descriptions, and optimized headlines, to improve search visibility and engagement.

Utilize the content management system efficiently to create, edit, and publish content. Troubleshoot CMS-related issues and ensure content is correctly formatted and presented.

Follow content briefs provided by the SEO team, to update and optimize pages. You will also be tasked with producing content briefs.

Produce high-quality content at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail. Meet deadlines consistently and manage workload effectively to balance content assignments.

Build and edit webpages with a UX-first mindset.

Other duties as assigned by the Content Lead.

Qualifications A Content Editor must have a minimum of three years of experience in web editing / writing / publishing and two- or four-year college degree.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including knowledge of AP style.

Comfortable writing / editing under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong eye for page layout and on-page user experience.

Past experience writing for the gaming industry and sports betting or online casino is preferred.

Experience working in WordPress is preferred.

Working arrangements This role will initially be carried out on a fully remote basis and will transition to a hybrid working model once our Miami hub is up and running.

Working conditions This position is 100% remote. Must be available during regular business hours in your evening and / or weekend work on occasion. Must possess stable high-speed internet and a working cellular phone. Must be able to perform indoor work with minimal noise. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be able to interact professionally with diverse cultures and individuals and demonstrate high levels of customer service and discretion. Must be able to work under deadlines with accuracy and quality, and manage multiple priorities.

Physical requirements Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion. Must be able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours per day. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Travel may be requested in some circumstances. Must be able to attend work reliably and on time.
