Overview
Join a well-established South Shore law firm specializing in estate planning and estate and trust administration. In this role, you will support two attorneys by preparing estate planning documents, managing probate filings, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout each stage of the process.
Responsibilities
- Drafting of Estate Planning Documents, Probate Petitions, Estate and Trust Accountings.
- Assisting in the preparation of Estate Tax Returns and Income Tax Returns.
- Communicating with clients as to the status of matters and managing incoming questions on open files.
- Shepard files from the drafting to signing stages and organize post signing tasks including recording of real estate documents and submission of beneficiary forms.
Qualifications
2+ years of working in a law firm setting (preferred).Experience with estate planning terminology (preferred).Proactive and independent with a strong work ethic.Ability to understand and follow existing systems and workflows.Willingness to learn, lead, and express concerns constructively.A sense of purpose, finding personal satisfaction in impactful work.Commitment to making a difference for the aging population and their families.Strong organizational and communication skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificateJ-18808-Ljbffr
