About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist RRT NICU / PICU

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : 2 years of experience preferred. First-time travelers with strong skillset will be considered.

License : State licensed

Certifications : RRT, PALS, NRP, ACLS, BLS required.

Must-Have : Previous charge experience is preferred.

Description :

Position focuses on pediatric patients with an emphasis on Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Will accept first-time travelers with a solid skillset and experience.

Successful candidates will possess certifications in RRT, PALS, and NRP.

The position involves working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Expectations include every other weekend and every other holiday coverage.

On-call duties are not required.

Patient ratios are expected to be 12 : 1.

Daily patient census includes 6-7 ventilated patients.

The role involves working with various patient age groups, including neonates and pediatrics.

Candidates must be proficient in skills such as ABG interpretation, intubation, and the operation of specialized equipment like ECMO.

Flexibility in floating within the facility is required.

References from recent employers will be necessary.

Travelers must adhere to compliance requirements.

Candidates should be ready to present two satisfactory professional references from recent employers.

Potential candidates must reside a minimum distance from the facility to qualify.

Travelers are expected to be comfortable with the facility's policies and procedures.

All candidates should ensure their certifications are current and meet the specified requirements.
