Why This Role Exists : The company is experiencing significant growth and expanding their second shift from 2 to 4 operators to handle increased production demand while maintaining the precision aerospace quality standards that have kept this company thriving for over six decades.
What You'll Do :
- Set up and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes plus Tsugami Swiss machines across 4 and 5-axis equipment with pallet changers
- Machine precision aerospace components in steel (heat-treated), titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass to exacting specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints for AS, MS, NAS, and NSA aerospace standard parts with tight tolerances
- Run multiple machines simultaneously (minimum 2) handling job runs from 20 to thousands of pieces
- Apply basic G / M code knowledge and edit speeds / feeds for optimal performance
- Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other precision tools
- Follow ISO and ITAR protocols while maintaining detailed quality documentation
- Contribute to OEE improvements as the company implements new efficiency metrics and lean manufacturing practices
Required Qualifications :
HAAS CNC experience (mills and / or lathes) - we're hiring specialists for eachAerospace materials expertise - steel, stainless, titanium, aluminum machining experienceBlueprint reading proficiency for aerospace standards (AS / MS / NAS / NSA parts)Multi-machine operation capability and strong multitasking skillsPrecision measurement experience with standard shop toolsThreading and drilling experience preferredBasic shop math knowledgePreferred Qualifications :
