A Director of Sales, Transient with Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort researches and develops the Transient strategy in partnership with Revenue Management and Marketing. They work with their team to solicit new FIT business, maintain relationships with current accounts, and travel outside of the office to meet with customers and prospects. Responsibilities include developing business, making proposals, negotiating contracts, conducting site inspections, and closing deals. The role also involves meeting and entertaining customers, conducting property tours, participating in tradeshows and industry events, and supervising staff through interviews, training, and evaluations.

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club offers a blend of Southern California’s laid-back luxury and elegant service. Located on 175 acres atop a seaside bluff, it features a private beach club, oceanfront culinary experiences, and coastal activities, making it an ideal place for memorable moments across generations.

The compensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, based on experience and location.
