Job Summary :

The Procurement Specialist manages the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, supplies, and services. This role supports all departments including Production, Maintenance, Warehousing, Quality, HR, and Administration by aligning procurement activities with operational needs while maintaining compliance, cost control, and strong vendor partnerships. The Procurement Specialist applies negotiation skills, market insights, and procurement best practices to ensure supply continuity and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities across all business units (production, warehousing, maintenance, quality, HR, and administration).
• Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers to meet operational and compliance requirements.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships; lead negotiations, resolve disputes, and oversee contract execution.
• Monitor vendor performance, delivery compliance, and quality standards.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders through the full cycle from requisition to delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to optimize cost, quality, and service levels.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast demand, prevent shortages, and mitigate supply risks.
• Conduct competitive sourcing and bid analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Track and report procurement metrics, including spend analysis and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support supplier diversification, process improvement, and sustainability initiatives.
• Execute additional responsibilities as required to meet evolving business needs and leadership directives.

Requirements :

Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Skills & Competencies : Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
