Construction Project Monitor
Tetra Tech invites you to consider a rewarding opportunity as a Construction Project Monitor with Tetra Tech's team of scientists and engineers. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Monitor with expertise in monitoring, inspection, and documenting of various construction projects including site restoration and remediation, remedial system construction, site grading, road construction, heavy equipment operations, stormwater management and control, irrigation and pumping system installation, and landscaping. Position responsibilities include field inspections, contractor submittals review and approval, construction plan review, and construction progress inspections.
The Construction Project Monitor will provide construction inspections commensurate with their existing training and experience, while being encouraged to take advantage of Tetra Tech's project management training program. The successful candidate will execute construction inspections with a strong emphasis on safety, communication, and operation optimization. This position would require on-site work at project locations adjacent to the Salton Sea. This position will report to the Tetra Tech San Bernardino office; however, the work will be a remote job assignment supporting the Salton Sea project. Applicants must reside within 50 miles from the Salton Sea either in Imperial or Riverside counties.

The Construction Project Monitor will have the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects including site restoration and remediation, water resources, site development, and contaminated site remediation. Market sectors the Construction Project Monitor will work with may include state and Federal funded watershed resiliency and impact mitigation, site restoration, biological assessment, and stormwater control. Target salary range : $30.00 / hour to $50.00 / hour.
