Supplier Quality Engineer Staff - Grand Prairie, TX

You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer for our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Grand Prairie, TX, managing and supporting assigned suppliers for the GMLRS program. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of critical components and systems, and implements rigorous quality standards to guarantee excellence.

What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Engineer Staff, you will be responsible for driving supplier quality performance, identifying trends, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and program management to resolve quality issues and improve overall quality performance. Your responsibilities will include :

• Managing and supporting assigned suppliers to ensure quality performance
• Identifying trends and monitoring supplier processes to drive corrective and preventive actions
• Providing internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective / preventive actions
• Interfacing with suppliers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), production sites, customers, and program management
• Supporting Material Review Boards (MRBs) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to disposition nonconforming hardware
• Providing technical liaison support for Quality Engineering matters
• Conducting scheduled product source inspections, first article inspections, and surveillance assessments
• Ensuring supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified
• Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement
• Mentoring and training Quality individuals supporting the GMLRS program

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
