Position Summary :
The Senior Revenue Manager at Awayday is responsible for maximizing revenue and occupancy across a complex portfolio of 600 to 1,000 [LC1] vacation rental homes spanning multiple brands and markets. This role plays a critical part in driving performance by leading pricing strategy, analyzing market trends, and managing all revenue levers including policies, promotions, and distribution to deliver results that outperform the market.
This role is best suited for individuals who are analytical, strategic, and results driven, with a strong ability to turn data into action and influence stakeholders through clear and compelling communication. It offers the opportunity to own the revenue performance of a region, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the ongoing growth and operational success of the fastest growing property manager in the short term rental space.
Key Responsibilities :
Revenue & Pricing Strategy
- Own and lead pricing strategy for 600 to 1,000 units across complex markets and brands, with the goal of outperforming the market
- Monitor and adjust rates, minimum stay restrictions, and booking policies to maximize revenue and occupancy
- Leverage pricing tools, internal systems, and competitive market data to make informed, revenue-optimizing decisions
- Drive performance through ownership of all revenue levers : rate, OTA channel mix, listing content, fees, promotions, and policies.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Independently identify pacing gaps, demand shifts, and performance risks through deep analysis of pick-up, segmentation, and competitor dataForecast future trends and revenue performance to inform leadership, guide decisions, and adjust strategy in real timePresent data-backed recommendations to cross-functional leaders and senior stakeholdersStakeholder Engagement
Partner with Brand GMs, Regional VPs, and local teams to drive revenue goals and strategyCollaborate with marketing, operations, and homeowner success teams to ensure a unified approach to driving revenue and retention.Clearly communicate pricing decisions, strategy shifts, and performance updates to internal and external stakeholdersPersuasively influence decision-making through clear communication, data storytelling, and collaborative alignmentLeadership & Process Improvement
Contribute to the evolution of Companys revenue management practices by leading SOP development and scaling best practices.Mentor junior revenue managers and peers by modeling strong analytical thinking, strategic communication, and professional conduct.Support M&A efforts by assessing new portfolios and leading seamless revenue integrationRequired Education and Experience :
4+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing strategy, or a related fieldExperience in short-term rental, hospitality, travel, or marketplace industries preferredBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Hospitality, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred
