Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in a high school setting serving grades 9-12. The role begins on August 6th and is a contract position for the entire school year. This opportunity involves managing a caseload of 15-20 students within a resource classroom environment, providing targeted support to meet diverse educational needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction and acmodations to students with special needs in a resource classroom setting.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with students, families, and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning outes.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior according to school and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure integrated support.
