As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment, responding to situations as they arise, and supporting a culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the retail or mall environment.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel or authorities.

Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and assisting with crowd management as needed.

Assist with emergency response activities, such as evacuations or medical incidents, following established procedures and protocols.

Maintain a visible presence to help deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to tenants, employees, and visitors.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
