Overview
Dvorak Law Group is seeking an associate attorney to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, critical thinker, and team player who is eager to take ownership of projects and gain hands-on litigation experience.
In this role
- Work collaboratively within an experienced litigation practice group.
- Collaborate with other attorneys across other practice groups within the firm, as well as clients and third-party advisors.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis of case law and statutes.
- Manage discovery, including depositions, document review, and expert witness preparation.
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
- Communicate directly with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the litigation process.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and execute litigation strategies that align with client goals.
- Represent clients in commercial disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation.
Ideal candidates will have
J.D. from an accredited law school.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Effective time management and organizational skills.Ability to complete projects within deadlines and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the firm.Strong work ethic and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Who we are
