Job Summary : The Business Development Manager will drive new business growth in assigned markets and regions, establishing a strategic position in new segments while securing market leadership in our more established segments.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Bring external expertise in product, technology, and market trends to our customers and internal teams.
  • Utilize understanding of price, cost, and margin dynamics to gain market share from competitors.
  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers and technology leaders at key and target accounts.
  • Facilitate the inception and launch of new standard products and services.
  • Business travel can vary (15-25% per quarter)

Skills / Qualifications Needed :

  • Proven track record of success in creating new business in a sales or marketing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Marketing / Business.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales or marketing of electromechanical components or other technically oriented products.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methods and key business metrics.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel globally.
  • Desired Skills :

  • Experience with contract review.
  • Master's degree in business administration or related technology field (preferred).
  • Marketing proficiency, including creating press releases or product brochures.
  • Pricing / costing expertise.
