We are looking for a skilled Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. This role focuses on providing comprehensive support for benefits administration, including open enrollment processes and employee inquiries. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination with third-party administrators and payroll systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Address employee inquiries related to benefits and provide accurate information promptly.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding activities specifically related to employee benefits.
  • Distribute benefits-related communications, resources, and updates to employees.
  • Process changes associated with qualifying life events in compliance with company policies.
  • Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to guidelines.
  • Coordinate with third-party administrators and payroll teams to maintain accuracy in benefits processing.
  • Track employee leave statuses and ensure compliance with return-to-work procedures.
  • Support open enrollment activities, including system updates and employee education.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting related to benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline benefits processes and improve efficiency.
  • Proven experience in benefits administration or a related HR role.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Dayforce, Workday, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of FMLA and other leave programs, including compliance requirements.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Previous experience with employee benefits coordination during open enrollment is preferred.
