Position Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Supervisor to join our Long-Term Care (LTC) billing team. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing billing operations across multiple locations, with duties that include payment posting, bank reconciliations, employee performance evaluations, scheduling, and direct support to Business Office Managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing, leadership experience, and the flexibility to support the team both on-site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervision & Leadership : Supervise and support the billing department team at two locations. North Little Rock and Springdale. Office located in the North Little Rock office. Complete annual employee performance reviews and recommend development or corrective actions. Create and manage monthly team schedules.
- Billing & Payments : Accurately post payments received from various payers. Process and reconcile credits and charges from third-party vendors such as Phoenix and Capsa Healthcare .Enter monthly remittance information into Net-RX in a timely and accurate manner.
- Bank Reconciliation : Reconcile all company bank accounts regularly and ensure accuracy in reported balances.
- Communication & Support : Respond promptly to email and phone inquiries from Business Office Managers regarding billing, payments, and related issues. Provide guidance and assistance to facility staff on billing-related procedures and questions.
- Compliance & Reporting : Ensure all billing practices comply with relevant healthcare and financial regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and internal reviews.
Availability Requirement
Must be available to work the first three (3) days of every month , regardless of the day of the week, to meet key financial and operational deadlines.Travel up to 30% to various facility locations for on-site support, training, or audits. Also, conferences in state and out of state. Meeting new potential clientsQualifications :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.3+ years of experience in long-term care or healthcare billing, with 1+ years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of third-party billing systems and long-term care reimbursement processes.Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and billing platforms such as Net-RX.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Working Conditions :
