About The Position

Interventional Radiologist Locums Physician - Colorado

Procedural-focused Radiology opportunity in Delta, Colorado, with no call and minimal reads. Enjoy compact 10-day-per-month blocks surrounded by mountain views.

Highlights

  • 10 days per month, ongoing PRN availability
  • Procedural focus with limited diagnostic reading
  • Open to IMLC physicians (Colorado license not required)

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Radiology team supported by Inspire Radiology for offsite reads
  • Infinitt PACS, Meditech EMR, and MModal dictation
  • Facility performs over 34,000 studies annually

    • Schedule

  • Compact scheduling : 3 days one week, 2 days the next
  • 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. weekdays only
  • No nights or weekends required
  • Dates available through year-end with extension potential

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Lung, liver, and bone biopsies
  • Breast procedures including 2D and 3D prone biopsies
  • Fluoroscopy-based GI studies : esophagrams and barium swallows
  • Thoracentesis and paracentesis
  • Equipped with Savvy stereo and Scout guidance tools

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology or Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Colorado license or IMLC LOQ
  • Case logs required for credentialing

    • Travel and Accommodations

  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
