Facility Setting : Acute Care – Telemetry Unit

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Unit Size : 27 beds (expanding to 37 beds)

Nurse : Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800

Charting System : Epic EMR

Scrub Color : Any (clean, professional attire)

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Proficient in cardiac drips, post-cath recovery, and chest tube management

Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips; document every 6 hours

Willingness to float to similar units and Med / Surg as needed (including nearby healthcare facilities)

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the Meridian facility

Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, renal, and respiratory conditions

Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, documenting findings regularly

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapists and nurse aides

Manage set-rate cardiac drips (e.g., diltiazem, amiodarone) and care for post-cath lab patients

Perform NIH stroke assessments and assist with post-cath recovery and chest tube care

Float to similar units or nearby healthcare facilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain compliance with facility and nursing standards
