Location and Scheduling

Address : 50 Houghton St, Providence, RI 02904. Hiring Immediately - No Experience Necessary - Training Provided. Walk-in interviews : Thursday 9-12pm. Starting Pay Rate : $24.00 / hour.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and reliable transportation service by operating a school bus or other location-specific vehicle with a fixed or changing route.
• Exhibits high ethical standards and personal integrity; shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with supervisor or manager.
• Reports for duty on time and maintains route on time, while ensuring safety.
• Physically assists passengers in evacuation during emergencies.
• Immediately reports any accident or incident per Company policy.
• Follows Company policy around student and / or passenger management.
• Completes all required paperwork (including route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) and submits promptly to the appropriate authority.
• Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Maintains cooperative relations with fellow employees, supervisors, customers, and passengers to promote company goodwill.
• Safely utilizes vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios and emergency equipment.
• Other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities for Paratransit Drivers may apply per location.
